Art of Eating?

When they did their transition, they asked for my credit card info so I declined. They told me I would continue to receive my paid for subscription; however, I don't believe I have received any issues since that time.

Does anyone have any info?

P.S. I also wonder what happened with the gift subscription(s) I gave out.

Pete, they transitioned to an on-line only magazine -- no more hard copies. So you may have additional issues available to you through their web site. You should send an e-mail.

Jim, thanks, I believe you just reminded me of the problem. If I recall correctly, they said I could not access the website to see my subscription unless I provided them my credit card info so I declined.

There have been two issues put online so far: #95 on 12/2015, #96 on 8/2016.

They are in two different technologies; the latter better than the former.

Digital editing appears sloppy.

That aside, AoE is in a funny place, I think: It used to be that what they did, and even how they did it, were ground-breaking. Not so anymore. The rest of the world has caught up. And I think the wind has come out of AoE's sails. I keep my subscription but I no longer expect excitement. (That sounds more dreary than I meant it.)

AoE was always a little late with their quarterly issues when i subscribed but, wow, only one issue in 2016? are they offering refunds?

Bill, as I recall, they didn't offer me any recourse other than kindly requiring that I provide credit card info as a condition to my reviewing my remaining paid-for issues online. Thus, I never received anything further in any format.
