So, let me ask anew: Does anybody have ideas re food and wine for Budapest? (for this fall...)

Have you been to Budapest before? Where did you eat?

More of a memory for me. My family is from Budapest. For a piece of history, there's always Gundel. Outdoor seating may not be available in the fall but my recollection is it's lovely if it is, essentially in the park. The place to go before the war. For decades after too. Maybe mostly Schtick and for tourists now.
