NY shipping litigation

I just received this notice written by a retailer that...

"The State of NY has hit UPS and Fed Ex with litigation regarding wine shipments into their state that NY claims is illegal. This litigation has UPS’s corporate legal team spooked and as a result I can no longer ship to these states anymore; NY,

I haven't found anything else about the litigation online.

Does anyone have a link for further info?

I just noticed that the original message failed to indicate the retailer who wrote the quoted comments was a California retailer.

Mark, the repercussions of the litigation impact shipping to numerous states, including Texas. I saw a list somewhere and the count looked to be 10 - 20 (or maybe even more).

Here is what the California retailer said, "There is a HUGE change regarding shipping that is going to have a very negative impact" and "This new litigation negatively affects all retail wine merchants like me that ship out of state." Moreover, these types of litigation and cease and desist orders can be (often are?) pernicious.
