It WAS good. My first experience with Ultramarine. Great acid, with a contrasting but complimentary breadth. Lovely fruit. It really was a study in restraining flamboyant fruit, the fun lying in the struggle.

Agree with the Reiner contingent here, and must praise the Reiner-made pasta and carbonara preparation therewith. Not to mention ice cream with ginger snaps.

I recommend a new thread asking Scott about his ice cream. I want the recipe.
