NYC: What's up with Artisanal?

Anybody know what's going on with Artisanal? They closed the restaurant and shop, said they'd reopen in Spring 2016 with an Eataly-type food mall. No new signs posted at the new location, no new message on the phone line. I assume nothing good is happening but I'd like to know more. Anybody?
