Naples is where it's at.

And 3 Caravaggios too. And a stupid beautiful bay. Oh, and the tomatoes in the sauce really do taste better. Even in March.

Vintage on the Violaine?
Tasted new, but I neglected to check the fine print. This wine is always so much more vibrant in IT than when I get it in the States. I guess the extra-fragility that comes with no added SO2.
Beautiful last night in any event. And with awesome food at a resto called "Veritas". I highly recommend it.

And yes Chris FTW. I don't know why that pic loaded upside down. Easy enough to fix when viewing on my phone. Harder, I imagine on a desktop.

After the Violaine, had a great Piedirosso 2015 Campi Flegrei from La Sibilla. 12.5% abv. Ungrafted. Fantastic freshness and depth, but also an core flavor of iron (not unlike Teran, but not as tannnic). 20 euros on Veritas's wine list.

Amazing given how vibrant it is in the US. Possibly my favorite no-dosage Champagne.
