Personally, I think M. Night is not a real person. I think it's a front for a bunch of screenwriters who get together to see just how stupid a script can be and still get money.

I thought everyone knew this. "He" is the Farrelly Bros, Trey & Matt, and Buck Henry. For Lady, they brought in Tina Fey, who also plays M Night in the American Express ads.
