Maureen, as is typical for you, good question! I'm surprised at the oversight of not stating that it was the Auslese.
It was extraordinary, effusive bouquet, lovely fresh profile with all the right components especially fruit, fairly well knitted, as I say it was in a word extraordinary, only wish I were more eloquent with my description of this trophy. I will further say that I thought that: (i) I think this bottling deserves a more mainstream pairing as the Grand Marnier Soufle' was a bit much on this occasion; and (ii) I wish I could have had it sometime other than after healthy pours of some preceding big wines (my already atrophied palate was even more so).
