Yes. Different people or institutions bought them. Also, couches in museums tend to be facing the art, not under it, so that you can see it. Also some museums charge admission. There are probably other differences of these sorts.
 
I have a friend named Art. He some times hangs at museums but never in my experience on walls or over sofas (on them, yes).
