Luigi Veronelli [1926-2004] was an Italian wine critic and much more Wiki from Bergamo.
Among other things he promoted small wine producers, stopped Coca Cola production (in Italy) for a day and was imprisoned for publishing De Sade.
Through internet legend (and notorious wine rascal) Luca/Zul I have seen a learned a lot about Veronelli and I have helped him translate some of his sayings into English. I have met some of the people affiliated with the Seminario Veronelli and appreciate their good work on promoting food and wine culture.
