X-Files

BTW, was thinking of you a few days ago because I was in DC for a quick 24 hours. No time for non-work-related socializing in the schedule, but we had very tasty pizzas at Il Canale in Gtown. (Wine list on the other hand...)

Our wide-screen television gets almost NO use. I'm clueless as to what X-Files might be...doesn't sound like a Burgundy producer or purveyor!

With apologies for the foregoing comments!

No need to apologize, Pete. I rarely know what people are talking about on this board.

yes, a telling commentary.

once upon a time. . . .

no shit. 99% of us knew what it meant - for example - when a wine was dumped down "teh fatsink." And you've got to be kidding; if you have watched any sort of news program or read a newspaper in the last 10 years you know exactly what the X-files are even if, like me, you don't watch it. It is just one of those cultural references that keeps popping up.

I didn’t post to give people an opportunity to dump on Pete. I find that tiresome and offensive. So please stop. Thanks.
