Any thoughts on Atom Heart Mother? Very proto for later stuff...I like it a lot.

I got my hands on an original English Harvest pressing, and it's excellent. Very direct.

One of my favorites, but I don't like the album version with the brass nearly as much as the bootleg versions with just the band. The November 1970 Montreaux and April 1970 Fillmore West and KQED recordings are probably the best sounding naked versions out there. There is a brass-free version on the Early Years set but it's not the same as the live band versions - it's really more like the brass version but before they laid down the brass track.

From that era (a tad later) I really like the album Obscured by Clouds (soundtrack to La Vallee). YMMV of course.

Indeed, Karen. I miss them both. At least Eden is on IG. But one doesn’t get to enjoy his control of language and tone on IG the way one could with his posts here.
