St Emilion visit recommendation(s)?

Given the ongoing, wide-ranging thread on Bordeaux, what would be recommended as chateau(s) to visit/taste at in April over on the right bank in St Emilion?

Thanks for any details, insights, and leads.

Jonathan, thanks, that is useful info.

I guess I'm surprised there's not more interest/knowledge here about St Emilion wineries that would be nice to visit.

Oh, Peter. Bordeaux just doesn't lift many boats around here, even when the water level rises. As you can tell by how much Bordeaux discussion transpires in the thread named "Bordeaux".

(Bonus points if you remember how awful it is to converse with Alex R.)

I have always thought folks here, as a group effort, know everything about wine; thus, my inquiry. As you say, it's surely just a lack of interest in Bordeaux.

Not a problem...it was worth a try.

I don't recall Alex R, but percentage-wise, I don't read much of the board here so I probably missed his postings.

Josh, inspired suggestions...and surely ones I would never have thought of, especially perhaps Ch le Puy.

Thank you!
