Oh yes, that's right. Perils of a large table. But thanks for helping me reconnect the face with the name.

Lou was present in a generous way in my readings of his postings and I appreciated his spirit. Memento. My condolences in spirit to BettyLu.

The Mme and I were there and enjoyed getting to know Lou and everyone. We were very saddened to hear about Lou's passing. He seemed like a really nice guy.

Best to all at that jeeb, it was very enjoyable and memorable. We are due for a repeat soon.

A true mensch, very sad to hear of his passing.

I sort of met them (they sat at the other end of a long table) for the first time at a dinner at Cafe Loup a few thousand years ago. That dinner was also my first taste of a Clos Roche Blanche wine (the Sauvignon Blanc) so it was doubly memorable.

Yep, where we overate to complete excess. I can't even fathom eating like that anymore.
.
Spiedini's, there's a blast from the past. First jeebus I attended there, I could barely eat or drink for 48 hours afterwards.
