Chidaine makes a rouge

and he has for few years anyway. cot, cabernet (franc? the label just says cabernet), and pineau d'aunis. appellation is touraine. full retail should run about 18 bucks.

lovely stuff. the pineau d'aunis complexity is there, but not dominant.

Whereas I love Chidaine's Chenins, his rosé has left me unimpressed*. I've never had his red.
