Pepiere 2016 Muscadet "Clos des Briords", Cuvee VV - lightweight, glug!
Le Rocher des Violettes (X. Weisskopf) 2015 Touraine "Cot" VV - 4.5 hrs carafed, crisp, light body but substantial flavor, reminds me of a good bright St-Joseph; definitely more-ish
Montesecondo 2015 Chianti Classico - classic cherry with a hint of earth, good (but not great) zing, happy to have this in my glass
Martin Texier 2016 VdF "La Boutanche" Cinsault - liter; Day 1: darkest translucent pink, brisk and glou-glou; Day 2: a bit of red fruit has come up, pleasantly earthy, minerally and scratchy, that's the liter. "La Boutanche" is a thing: https://www.selectionmassale.com/la-boutanche.html

Dom. Marc Morey 2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er "En Virondot" - big and buttery
Giancarlo Ceci 2015 Castel del Monte "Almagia" - blend of uva di troia and montepulciano, sturdy and grapey and powerful, anyone know what might happen if it lays down for 5 years?
Italo Pietrantonj 2017 Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosato - fruity and full but also too sweet

At a friend's house in Los Angeles:
M. di Gresy 2008 Langhe "Sauvignon" - slightly oxy but still fragrant, one taster says there is a tiny prickle of bubbles, OTH or nearly so
One Hope 2013 Chardonnay - breast cancer research benefit bottle, made by Mondavi, boring, I'll grant that it's only slightly woody
Floriana 2010 Gruner Veltliner "Tolna" - minerally, fruity, zippy, glou-glou
Henriot NV Champagne Brut Souverain - L1522810515, leesy, fizzy, delicate brioche fragrance, excellent
Ch. de Lamarque 2011 Haut-Medoc Rouge "Heritiers des Marquis d'Evry" - nice mix of earth and fruit, ready now, good quaff
Catena 2012 Malbec "High Mountain Vines" - dull but fairly full in the mid-palate with fine tannins
Caravan 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon - slightly oaky, fruity, fine tannins, brutish and boring
Stonegate Collection 2010 Red Field Blend - a slight blueberry taste suggests zin, light-to-medium weight, good acidity and balance
Arlaux NV Champagne Brut Premier Cru Grand Cuvee - magnum; an older bottle but still in good shape: moderate fizz, bready, vinous
Chambers NV Rutherglen Muscadelle (Tokay) - lot LO1254, fortified to 18.5%, perhaps 250 g/l RS (it's hard to get exact stats), toffee and marmalade and a hint of jasmine, quite sweet but also oddly delicate
Zonin NV Prosecco Brut - yup
Brooks 2014 Pinot Noir "Janus" - good balance of acidity, flowery smellies, and fine-grained tannins (think like wine from chalky soils)
Firestone Walker 2018 Imperial Stout "Parabola" - intensely flavorful, no obvious bourbon flavor but a full-ish mid-palate that I take as the barrel-aging, quite heavy (12.7%, 31 plato), sharing a bottle with a friend is about the right amount

Joseph Carr 2015? Pinot Noir "Josh" - Central Coast typique: slightly ripe but not cola-fied, good acidity and light weight, a fine quaffing wine
