I thought I had heard most all of them. Until last evening.

At a Burgundy tasting, I heard "tidal pool" as a descriptor for a Chablis. In consternation, I had to ask how both words were spelled...which did not help in understanding.

Tidal pool?!?

Sure it wasn't a Millennial saying that it reminded them of the taste of Tide pods?

You seem like a well traveled guy. You've never been to a tidal pool? Could be a little vegetal funk, a little briny, a hint of umami perhaps. Doesn't seem a stretch to me.
