Totality. One year ago today, [name] Estate Vineyard was bathed in the ethereal and awe-inspiring glow of a total solar eclipse.

Did those few minutes affect the grapes? Did the magic light create an otherworldly profile? Was the chemistry changed just enough to launch the acids and sugars to a plane which they have never seen?

You decide.

Today we launch our 2017 Totality Riesling, made entirely of Riesling grapes from our Estate Vineyard. And, like the eclipse, it will go fast. We are offering it for one week only.

Uh, maybe this belongs in the hype thread? As a repentant ex-copywriter (and, yes, I may still need to atone further for my sins in promoting crass commercialism) I say this is a crock.
 
Expect the next article in the Spectator to be: “Eclipse Vintage Miracles!”

They better hope the wine doesn’t emulate a certain Bonnie Tyler song: “Now I’m only falling apart.”
