Keith etal, Speaking elsewhere of the 2014 Bordeaux and how good they are, especially at their price points. And the painful pricing of the 2015s.

I tasted numerous of the 2016s the other night (Fete du Bordeaux events here). They were really impressive, particularly when considering how they taste now versus how other vintages tasted at this juncture of their (non)evolvement. Impressive focus, clarity, balance, energy, less alcohol, etc., etc.

I'm not aware of the pricing for the 2016s, but there will probably be no joy.

I am starting to see some of the cru bourgeois and Right Bankers trickling in. Should be a fun ride. Prices aren't nearly as great as they are on the '14s, but they're still down from the 2005-2010 bender so there should be some worthwhile buys.
