Biloxi/Gulfport not so suddenly

Joining the mishpocha in Gulfport for Tday next week. My nephew only recently acquired his condo there and so hasn’t yet determined the entertainment and dining options. Suggestions greatly welcome. Even for grocery shopping. Thanks.

I looked at the wine lists of some of the top gulfport restos on trip advisor. Hey, it has been awhile since I drank a beringer white zin!

Any place decent to eat if you don’t care about the wine list?

I cast my digital net a little more widely but did not really come up with anything exciting, either. There are a few casino restaurants that have received Wine Spec mention but I'm not sure that helps; a few places even call themselves wine bars and they are better but not really good.

Perhaps we need a level of indirection: it looks like the biggest wine store in the vicinity is Maisano's. The owner has some kind of cert from the Court of Master Sommeliers so maybe ring him up and ask him what's good nearby?
