We rounded out a busy second day with a visit to the dynamic Domaine Lombard in Brézème.... Domaine Lombard is a rising star in an appellation that is now gaining recognition from some of the big players in the Rhône -- Famille Perrin (of Beaucastel fame) apparently bought 25 hectares here (much of it unplanted) during the summer.
Brother Eric has spoken of Lombard before but I think Perrin is new in the nabe.
