Nice bright bricking red color upon opening (a couple of days after removal from cellar storage). Bouquet subdued but ferocious pink Pinot animal aromas and tight stones, closely held. Tasted over two days... mineral and tannic in my mouth after a short blast of musical fruit like violins at a distance. Still reserved and a bit tough but the form of prettiness is apparent, if distant. Moments of tough pleasure and hints of the music I associate with Bourgogne... Day two: the aromas relax a bit and music plays over a taut, not unlikeable mineral structure. Taste loosens slightly but remains like a distant lover.
