Random note...les Arlots' sister establishment

is Billili, two doors up the street. Needless to say it has the same ultra-friendly vibe, and a very dis-Orderly wine selection.

It differs from les Arlots by serving small plates rather than sit-down dinners.

I hadn't seen any notes in the usual places, so should you be in need in the 10th and not have a reservation at les Arlots ....voici.

As it happens, I had lunch there last Friday; a friend lives upstairs from Les Arlots and he suggested it. While it's not shaking up my bracket of Parisian caves à manger, the food was good and the young staff were very welcoming. Definitely worth noting if you're in the Gare du Nord area.
