Hmm, I have a guiltily poignant empathetic reponse,... and an envious one, since I began collecting Clape Cornas(small amounts) each vintage since 1996.
But I gotta say I never opened the bottle with my teeth and I never drank from the neck with abandon, More power to you!

Timely update, Jim. I just took delivery a couple of weeks ago of the wines I ordered. And they all seem to be in good shape. Opened a 2015 Joseph Voillot Pommard Les Epenots (you know, for science), and it was showing well for a wine at that stage of its evolution.
