Yesterday the Governor of CT signed into law a bill that allows CT residents to receive shipments of wine from out-of-state retailers. This is a victory for wine geeks in CT and, we can hope, sets a good example for other states.
The legislators in Hartford are also considering whether to allow wine and beer beverage machines. This is rather less easy to assess... if it replaces jobs, that's not good; but it's also a strict enforcer of "you've had enough" and "you're not old enough".
