Coming to grips with past errors

and here I thought, from the thread's caption, that this was going to be another free-marketer seeing the error of his ways, like greenspan

Just how unbelievable is Greenspan's recent testimony? People treated him like he was a genius. It turns out he believed a lot of sophomoric Ayn Randish claptrap that most college juniors wouldn't believe and periodically went before Congress and spoke seriously and in a language designed to subtly signal without saying much at all. Watching him testify was like watching the curtain be pulled back on the wizard in The Wizard of Oz.

Well, you know where I stand, and have stood for years (self-pat on the back...yeah).

Did you write this yourself? Just happen to stumble across it while browsing self-help book reviews in Amazon?

Nope, not me. I've never been to prison (yet). Maybe a couple of roadside work crews due to some misunderstandings with the local constabulary that got knocked down to misdemeanors (what they considered offenses, I considered "artistic expression", BTW, no mailboxes were harmed in pursuit of my art).

I truly did stumble upon it while trying to order a copy of Eckhart Tolle's 2009 Datebook. Unfortunately, he only has an Engagement Calendar and a couple of Wall Calendars. I suppose that if I were truly a follower, I wouldn't even need a calendar because I'd just look within my soul and know where I was supposed to be at what time, but my consciousness-awakening hasn't progressed quite as quickly as I'd hoped. There's always next year I guess.

My wife reads that stuff.
No wonder she's so centered.
And I'm not.
Best, Jim

Better Monkification than Monktonification, I always say.
Does this mean taking a standard piece of music and changing the form to having many chords that shouldn't work and a plethora of dissonants? Thelonius a genius.
