Ah, I meant to post this when the news first came out in June. I'm not sure if I ever made a jeeb there, but I worked with them briefly when they first opened, but soon after my sales territory was switched to Manhattan and I wasn't allowed to keep any of my Brooklyn accounts. Sorry to see the news. Good peeps.
A number of us have jeebed at Maison Kayser, especially the one on my block and at Columbus Circle and it looks like they they may permanently shut all sixteen locations in NY. A real shame as they have one of the top two or three baguettes in town and they offered corkage free byo with excellent stemware. I suppose the silver lining in this is when we're able to jeeb again, we'll still have great bread as everyone has apparently learned how to bake in the past few months...
