Yes, I know that I should have but I was in a hurry and exhausted and didn't really think it would make a difference. A single potato can spread over an amazingly large surface area.
 
Thank you for the reminder. I just opened a bottle of the 1998 Muller-Catoir Haardter Burgergarten Riesling Spatlese, and it is delicious. Kane is, as usual, wrong, although I am not surprised he found the acidity a bit much for his tastes.

Our boy Bradley is a delicate hothouse flower. Gentle breezes make his skin hurt, soft sunlight makes him cower in the shadows to ease the pain, and any structure at all in riesling is physically painful.

There ought to be a telethon for such people, but no one's been able to come up with a name for the affliction just yet.

Coad must've misremembered something because I love this wine. Always have and you guys forget, I love high acidity in my white wines with sugar. Hell, I remember a time when I was flipping out about over how good a bottle of '96 Cazin Cour Cheverny was that I brought to one of the first jeebi at Dougherty's around '99 and it was Coad who called it shrill.

Just looked it up on the wldg search engine. Even Jay can tell you I love that wine. I must've had it about six or so times with him as he knows I like it, so he opens them when I'm around.
