Reminiscing

I shouldn’t use the search engine. A night I missed while in Costa Rica, told two ways—*sigh*:

Version1

Version 2

I don’t know why, but this reminds me I haven’t read The Book of Laughter and Forgetting in a very long time. Maybe it’s time again.

Never thought I'd say this but Brad, thanks for taking pictures.

That was the first time Arnold met the wine folk and I remember being so grateful to Lisa for talking to him of matters medical otherwise I might never had seen him again. That was also the night I discovered that punctuality isn't in Arnold's vocabulary as I waited for him by the subway stop for about 45 minutes.

I missed the chinato that night. Isn't that also the party where Joe made some great roasted fingerling potatoes?

I still hold that TBoLaF has one of the greatest opening pages in the history of literature.

It's nice to remember the good times.

I'm glad I captured the last days of your "friendly Lenin" look.

Let me also repeat, I told ya'll there was bacon in Texier's '99 Cote-Rotie.

I still have a couple. Not in magnum. But we can test.

Doesn't Brother Eric decry bacon in C-R as hopelessly new-fangled?

Yes, I enjoyed browsing the photo albums, too... and I wasn't there!

I believe so, but Chris and I got it in spades.
