NY, June 4

Vin Jaune is heinous, so it's no wonder why Cliff wants to bring it as the usual wine theme the past ten years or so has been wines that will shock and horrify me. Cliff was very successful in that regard when he brought a Radikon to the last one he went to.

Those CDP's sound lovely, Jon. I'll help you scratch that old Huet itch.

The category of great wines that will shock and horrify you is so broad as to make the parlor game too easy.

Hey guys, looks like there's a good chance I'll be stuck late at work today. Feel free to pass my seat on to the waiting list for the waiting list for the waiting list, or if not I'll see if I can make it as a late arrival.

on my G3.

John, here's a G3 story for you:

Once at a recording session a few years back, Disney uber-composer Alan Menken ("Little Mermaid" "Beauty and the Beast") was talking to us about his "G3" - its stability, its headroom, its speed. As a then-owner of a Macintosh G3, I thought he was talking computers. Just as I was about to comment, I was saved from embarrassment when he mentioned how smooth they were when landing.

Duh! GULFSTREAM!

And think what a nice story he would have if you hadn't figured it out.
