EPL Season

1. I think that Everton has the potential to do really well this year if they can stay fit and their players play to the level they were at last year. Obviously, it would be better if Fellaini were back, but I really like the balance of this side.

2. The top is too close to call. All of the big teams have major weaknesses. That being said, i think Arsenal has as much chance as either United or Chelski. I don't see any of Spuds, Liverpool, or ManShitty really challenging. If Liverpool lose Mascherano, they are in realtrouble. I don't think shitty will pull it together and there will be locker room issues.

3. Why hasn't anyone signed Michael Bradley yet?

4. If you want to play EPL fantasy league, send me an email.

6-0. Early days and all, but they look very good. And well done Blackpool...

'Pool in serious trouble - good chance of going into administration as that would drop asking price significantly.

difficult to judge anything based on this game, but two things jump out
- even though Chamakh should have finished 3-4 times, his one finish was exactly what we've been looking for
- very solid game from Wilshire, I'd be interested to see how he does against opposition that puts pressure in midfield.

That one that he took on the volley while moving to the near post was fantastic and should have been a goal.

You have. He was terrible against Liverpool.

Arshavin decided to play for 40 minutes today. How kind of him.

Theo = Henry on the second goal?

All 3 were top drawer finishes.

Van Persie looks like a chicken with his head cut off running around. He needs to chill and let the game come to him. He did look quick though.

well, I'd like to see what Gibbs can do. I already know what Clichy can do, and I don't expect that to change much.

I think Clichy is mostly excellent going forward and back. His pace essentially nullifies the opposition right wing and forces them to think about him going forward as well.

I'd like to see Vela get a run on the left if your little Russian friend doesn't feel like playing the whole game. What gives with that?

they can not be serious about Demichelis to Chelsea. Has to be a joke.

That is a joke. Just an unhappy player trying to stir things up with his agent.

I'm just happy the last saturday's game was in hi-def. I really have trouble watching games in lo-def these days.

not the hardest group, but not an easy one either.
If we simply outclass those teams, then no problem. Otherwise, it's a grind.

Mourinho better have his act together quickly, on the other hand.

I think we got the easiest draw for a 'Pot A' team aside from Barca.

A and G look to be the most competitive.

again, I am not too worried about this group, but I would not have made the above statement.
Braga and Partizan just came off significant upsets in the qualifiers; both played very well.
Donetzk is excellent, particularly at home. Srna and plenty of Brasilians who could have made most national teams in the WC.

Two healthy first choice center backs and a goalie ( speaking of which, WTF? ) should take care of the away games, though.
