RvPI blame Arsenal.

I missed most of the second half. Was it competitive ?

the delicious irony of discovering that i still ended up as a follower of a greater-spoofed fourth-growth does not seem to be helping any.

Very keen to see what happens at Bayern Munich.

Like you, I am completely focused on the game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth tomorrow morning.

OK, on the 55th or 56th minute yesterday, Arsenal started a very successful counter, with good numbers, when Arteta got a hold of the ball around the 60 yard line. I should have taken the opportunity to decant a bottle and pour a glass, for enhanced enjoyment of the continuation of that play.

Indeed. It looks like teenagers going on an ATV joy ride in someone's flower garden. Not the hydrangea!!!

On another front, anyone caught the play of Gareth Bale this season? He's the only reason to watch a Spurs match that I can think of.

Giving us a preview for Sunday already?

Ooo err. I hadn't looked at the fixtures when I made that comment. Will have to tune in tomorrow.

I hate to say this, but we are into March now, so 1 vs 4 vs 7 point gap by the end of tomorrow will kind of make a difference.

But Spurs are overdue for a collapse, regardless.

Super depressing.

WTF is going on with Vermaelen? I erased the game immediately afterwards, so I didn't get a chance to view it again, but he was at fault for the first goal and maybe the second.

we could probably argue until 70 montrose in magnum matures, about whether any *individual* mistake is responsible for either goal, although if I had to nitpick, I have much more of an issue with Arteta on the first goal than with Vermaelen, and on the second... yeah, Vermaelen was caught totally square but that's because Arsenal defensive midfield is so fucking superior to Barcelona's, Dortmund's and Bayern's, they don't need to bother trying to collapse on the ball during these counters, the way these other teams do.

it's all getting very weird, no?

i never thought i'd ever feel bad for manure, but right now, i do.

I couldn't go quite that far.

Holy crap, did you see how Mourihno sucked up to Fergie and the OT fans? "The best team lost." Christ, he wants that job.

the best team with an awesome creative midfield of carrick and cleverley, especially when compared to amateurs like ozil, modric, di maria and kaka, not to mention those purely defensive goons like alonso and kheidira

SAF was so busy trying to beat Barcelona on the wings with Young and Co., he forgot about the other part of the game.
