I can see Arsenal fans too weak in the knees from laughter to support themselves, if Van Gaal gets appointed at Spurs.
 
Maybe Heynckes isn't the manager of the year in 2013.
Maybe it's SAF, given what his team looks like without him, with the same personnel.

So who will help Arsenal win the league? They will do extremely well against the weaker teams, better than Chelsea will, because to those teams they look like freaking Barca.
But I expect them to do poorly against Chelsea and City, probably amounting to one point combined.
So who will help, especially with City? In the good old days, we had Everton go on a path of destruction against the top 4-5, between February and May, one that ultimately cost United the title in 2012. Don't think it's going to be that simple this time around; it may take a combination of Liverpool, Everton, Spurs and United to somehow scrape up more points against City than against Arsenal. One team that intrigues me in this equation is United; at home to City and away at Arsenal.

City are still dependent on a few key contributors. If they get injured, or distracted with the UCL, then they will drop points.

To me, Chelsea are the bigger problem because Mou looks like he has them starting to become the Mourihno machine. They have a lot of replaceable parts and less reliance on key contributors. While Hazard has been hugely influential this term, I think, like us, they can keep going if his form drops or gets injured.

I expect us to take all 3 points from City at home and probably lose away at Chelsea. The two biggest matches for us are Liverpool and Everton away, but that depends on what Everton have to play for at that point. Ultimately, I think both of those teams will suffer the same fate we do when we play Barca, they can't beat us at our own game with (mostly) inferior talent.
 
If they take 3 from City, as you say, and 3 from United (as I think they will need to), then 1 point each from Everton and Liverpool may be enough.

On Vucinic - if he plays the way he did at Roma, that would actually be a nice fit. Quagliarella is a more talented player all around, and can shoot from all sorts of bizarre places and angles, but he would be vying for space where it's quite crowded as is.
