Going to the North Fork next week for some nice cold winter coastal time (my North Sea-raised wife will feel right at home).
Am considering visiting wineries, but it appears their whole reserve-a-table-and-eat-some-commercial-food-while-choking-down-our-'wines' schtick is not what I am accustomed to from other regions.
Should I do it anyway? Any tips?
