This frame is 910 pixels wide. Some older browser-monitor combinations (I assume it's the browsers) only fit 760 pixels. I sometimes use one of those, so I'll check to see if this site requires sideways scrolling, which would be cumbersome. On the other hand, if it was supposed to be easy ... it wouldn't be what it is.
You understand us well. The Politburo, as the vanguard of the people, looks to the future.

Nathan:

Sorry to ask what might be a dumb question, but did you install the Xinha extension into your Firefox browser?

Once you've done that, click once to get the cursor in the add a comment field and then right click and the Xinha options come up on the right click menu.

The user profile page has switched its URL from number to name.

Yet another way that the P'buro protects us from our own worst tendencies!

Yes, I noticed that, too, but had a slightly more sinister take: the P'buro are hiding their traces more effectively. As Patrick McGoohan once said: who is No. 1?

Mark Lipton (aka #83)

There was no #1. I don't recall there being a #83, either.

Actually, I would guess that the change was made as part of a protocol to prevent duplicate usernames.

How about assigning post numbers within a thread so in a long thread one can just refer to the post number rather than have to describe a certain post, i.e., from post 12 through post 29 the fonts are all screwed up.

Also, would it be possible to make the page number fonts in threads over two pages a little bigger? Same with the jump to page numbers.

Thanks.

Is there a way to create hyperlinks without having to muck with code? I've participated on places where you just click a hyperlik insertion button where you just paste in the url and type in what words you want, or you just type the words first, highlight and paste the url and voila. No fuss, no mess.

See xinha, above.
