We'll see how its tasting out of barrel but I think I can probably bring a sample.
Excellent.

All, ignore Kane's trolling in this thread.

Shouldn't you be writing notes, Slaton? Or, are your promises worthless?

NYC ORANGEMEN and ORANGEWOMEN: taking a cue from recent posts, why don't you tell me when you can't be there and we can work at a consensus that way?

I'm waiting for Sig. Dalton's announcement in hopes we can do the same date here in San Francisco.

Ambitious, but why not?
Maybe live video links going coast to coast.

Marc, it would be great if you (and your Notte di Luna) could join us. I'm waiting for Sig. Dalton's announcement in hopes we can do the same date here in San Francisco.

And while you won't find it in the OCW, I believe when we say "orange wines", we are speaking exclusively of wines made from white varieties fermented (at least partially) on their skins. While exceptions might be made for borderline grapes like pinot gris, poulsard is still a red grape if a less-pigmented one, so I don't think it quite fits the bill.

West Coast should be August 1 or 2.

12th, 19th both good, next 3 sundays dubious.

I think Sharon is leaving at the end of the month, so any way we could do the 26th?

Give her a proper send off...

Levi,

Please add my name to the attendee list.

W/R/T dates after 7/19 I am not available 7/23-26 nor 8/2.

Your list already covers the oranginas that I own, so I won't be packin', either.

Thank you for wrangling the OWGS to visit our fair city.

Jeff

How's the 1997 Gravner Ribolla Gialla as an option?

I see it on the list at Wine Expo in LA and I'll be there on Sunday so I could drag one back.

Friends of Orange: Good news! Just moments ago, the Orange Wine Gathering Specialist Team informed me that both Movia "Lunar" 2007 and Suore "Coenobium" 2007 (normale) have been secured for PROJECT ORANGE NYC. That's right, the one and only Slovenian Moon Wine and another vintage from the Sisters Adriana and Maria Grazia will be in the mix! Only adding to what is sure to be an ORANGETASTIC Evening.

Why would you want such a sedate mushroom when you live in the home of Psilocibe cyanescens?

The excitement of something new, of course.
Plus, I don't know the location of the secret GGP cyanescens trove.
