Jamet Cote Rotie '99 w/Dinner

Jamet Cote Rotie '99 --
Dark red.
Toasty nuances to bouquet, quite complex, blackberries/raspberries/blueberries, roasted meats, luscious.
Solid core of dark fruits, soft tannins, maybe some leather, complex, smoke, muscular but with finesse and smoothness, some earth, firm tannins in abeyance, well balanced.
Good length to flavorful finish. [Excellent]

Served with Sauteed Veal Liver w/Onions, Polenta Cakes, Green Peas...

I just love Jamet and you've given me incentive to open a bottle very soon...I bought a lot of the '98 and '99 and most still remain in my cellar (fortunately)... the food looks great!!

D, I also am a Jamet fan. I have about 10 vintages on hand starting with 1994. Only wish it hadn't got so expensive (like the Ogier).
