the early 2000's was good for the tissots, but the more i taste the current vintages, the less i like them...
i remember SFjoe telling me he thought tissot was one of the most talented vigneron in his opinion, and at the time, i was fine with the statement.
Not anymore thought, the reds have become plain bad and the whites more and more modern. Maybe the west coast importer is not bringing the best wines...

The Cremant is still great, or was the last time I had some. But I agree more generally with g and vlm.
