They should put that in their marketing material.I distinctly remember seeing it, asking about it, the bottle being brought over so I could see it more closely, and then the memory goes dim.
I knew you had experience with rolling carts! It is possible that we no longer had it by the time of my employ at the same establishment. I don't recall it being on the after dinner drink cart, and I used to give that a spin around the room quite often, so you would think I would remember.

What, if I may be so rude to ask, was the tariff? It appears to be under 300 euros/bottle here, which is like they're giving it away.
That's funny, I have almost the exact same non-memory, I'm pretty sure I had it at some burgundy-oriented restaurant extravaganza years ago and the bottle sure rings a bell, but if I did it sure didn't make an impression. Very expensive I believe, but of course that's a relative term at DRC. All I recall for sure is for years thinking, "I wonder why Marc de Champagne from high end producers tastes better than Marc de Bourgogne from high end wineries." In either case, they seem to bear the same relationship to traditional Marcs as couture to mall knock-offs.originally posted by Levi Dalton:

I am having a hard time actually remembering if I tried it.
I am pretty sure I did...

Because I have this suspicion that the number of times Claude has had Chave Vin de Paille and DRC Marc de Bourgogne in the same day surpasses the total number of times I've had either.
I've only had the one. Twice. No marc.Hey, I've had both.
'cuz the store down the street and around the corner from the National Assembly has cases of the stuff, in case you're in the market. Why do you ask?
Those people in the Marketing department really are a whiz!originally posted by Sharon Bowman:
No, it's all distilled in a central vat in central Burgundy.
Andouillette - the more flambed, the better. Vaporized is best. >:^)The stuff's good for flambeing andouillettes, though.
