In fact, yes: Elodie Balme 2007 Ctes-du-Rhne-Villages Rasteau. Good wine, maybe even better when Sharon passive-aggressively forces it on you.
I wonder how much we can get away with before she wakes up?The act is worth the price of admission alone.

We'll see if it's as good without Sharon's input when I get around to trying it.

Kevin, I don't like to unduly preview notes that will undoubtedly appear sometime in 2013, but here you go:
Elodie Balme 2007 Ctes-du-Rhne-Villages Rasteau (Rhne) Dark, dark, dark blackish-purple fruit, evergreen herbs, and grilled meat. But theres an inner light to it, as well. Said light doesnt quite defy the darkness, but it does provide its heartso rather than the charred, blackhearted typicity one expects, theres rather a wine with all the identifiable trappings but something much more generous and friendly within. Really, really good. (11/09)

It only really works if Coad explains it. Can someone round him up and force him back to posting?
