Last time I was in Detroit I opened a '96 Grand Mont. I don't remember too much about it other than wishing it was a bit better. There were a lot of other wines that evening, so it's safe to say it got lost in the shuffle. Maybe it was still too early to open it? I was hoping it would have been close to the beauty that a '96 C & P Breton Galichets had been. Too lofty an expectation I'm thinking...
