Rijckaert?

How are the recent Burgs? Anyone had the '06s recently?

I've had a few... (I think) they seemed a bit more polished than previous vintages, but still quite interesting/good.

Also, don't ask SFJoe, he has a Rijckaert deficient palate.

I tasted their lineup of 06s a year ago and didn't like any of it, for whatever that may be worth.

FWIW I had an 04 Jura chardonnay recently which greatly surprised me with its truth and excellence.

I usually like this guys wines for what they are. I think of them as a good into to the Jura and some Burg. but dont think they have top shelf complexity (but they are priced sensibly) In short - a gateway drug before you hit up Puffeney, Tissot, etc.

I also picked up some old vintages about a year ago on a distributor closeout. Chardonnay, Savignin, etc. all really cool so far, i use them to start a cheese fondue then drink the rest with dinner.
