Stem inclusion mimicking new oak influence is something that always throws me. I often get it with Dujac and more recently with Rhys.
We're in the process of planting some Cab in the valley that's on bamboo rootstock and will be harvested at approx 33 brix so we can produce wine that will have an immediate gob of fruit texture and not be hindered by oak at all.
