2009 Lapierre Morgon - anyone?

Yes, they do help a ton. Nothing like rising prices to cut down on all the hassles of tastings, processing orders, shipping wine and tracking money. I'm thinking of raising prices high enough so no one bothers me at all.

I blame Florida Jim and all his Muscadet talk.

Selling other peoples' wine since he is unwilling to sell his own.

Finally, the big picture that puts the whole conspiracy together.

If only Le Carr were still here to document it all.

The whole thing depresses me. I did have this feeling when we were there this summer of sort of a calm before the storm - like five or ten years from now the homey feeling might be gone. Not that I'm too worried, but still, there was a time that Napa and Chateauneuf were pretty sleepy...I guess I should stop posting. You talk about things long enough and things DO change.

I am surprised by the number of folks I talk to that are "getting into" natural wines. Maybe it's Seattle, but... When James Suckling tweets, maybe we're into a new place.
