I saw him on there a few times describing barnyard smells in French wine as part of the Burgundy terroir. Is there anyone left who really believes this?
But more egregious was popping open two 2006 red Burgundies and then giving them harsh scores because they didn't show much five minutes after being opened. And then berating them for being overpriced and overhyped wines. Is this any way to teach people about appreciating Burgundy? Does he really not know about aging curves and aerating wine. How does that help his schtick.
