2009 Clos de la Roilette Fleurie

I checked those links, but they are already sold out for the most part. Tardive is completely gone and not much of the normal is left.
The inventory for Crush often includes out of stock items and the inventory for CSW isn't a real time inventory on WS.

I can still remember buying a couple of bottles of the '99 Tardive and putting it in the cellar. Months later, I opened the bottle with .sasha, and we both said, "Holy shit, this is great, must get some!"

But it was long gone.

Don't say you weren't all warned a long time ago.
I know, I've got my Coudert CT, but what about the Vissoux and Brun?

These just hit the beach, didn't they - aside from the l'Ancienne?
Yes, but I didn't recall if anyone tasted Vissoux over in France.

For once, I heeded. Yule, next time you're out Barboursville way, stop over and we'll break one out.

Thank you for the offer Ian. If I am ever out there I will definitely drop you a line. And if you're ever in DC, we should jeebus. Hopefully I will be stocked with other '09 Beaujolais by then.

I just happened to notice it on Cellar Tracker. I don't think I've ever owned a 96-point wine before. I feel strangely ... different ... I wonder what the fucked-up factor on this wine is.

By the way, have you tried any of the 09 Vissoux yet? I remember your caution about possible style change with the vintage.

yes I did, and I recently had a long discussion with Gilman about this - he assures me there is nothing to fear. I am hoping to taste some of them this week.

you know, I was just doing the anti-Keith, trying to cool the market :-)

can't imagine having my thirst for beaujolais put on some sort of allocation.

can you imagine, "here's your 3 bottles of fleurie and 3 bottles fleurie ct. thanks. see you next year!"
