Robinson uses the traditional British yardstick of "sensible", and natural just isn't completely so.

Parker acts as if the day of the dominating point-counting wine critic is past.

I didn't see any use of the word sensible in JR's article. There's lots of good wine in this world - I had '98 Doisy-Daene and '01 Monbosquet yesterday and enjoyed both.

i love how the piece on natural wine ends with her wine of the week, mastroberardino. a producer whose wine i used to love, but are today tasting like they could be from anywhere.
