The "I'm 92 on this" (while staring at the clipboard) makes me think of pro athletes who talk about themselves in the third person. As in, "Deion is going to get two picks today."
 
The winemakers look very uncomfortable in the video.

I agree, they really do look uncomfortable.
 
What is unclear to me is why he thinks this image is one that will sell anyone on him. I'm not being ironic. I truly don't get it. I get the one where he shows himself hobnobbing with vignerons in vineyards. But what's the attraction in clips where he says numbers?

It's a voodoo ritual. He is possessed of the god of points, and if you were a believer you could tell.

I think he is projecting his unshakable confidence that:

*Points really mean something
*He can assign them on the absolute scale
*If you listen to him, you can catch a contact high of his confidence and univariate scale and etc., and you needn't fear the mockery of your dinner guests when you pull out the expensive juice.

Something like that.
 
I wonder what Fourrier Sr would have done with this guy, had he visited.
