Very Jadot and very 2008.
Needed about 3 hours to really come around. It was all *tart* red fruit at first, with a hint of spice and earth on the finish. Interesting but not all that pleasant to drink. Quite silky now, the earthier elements are a touch more prominent and the tartness has receded and the wine has smoothed out. Still shows as very young but it's a delightful drink nonetheless. Very nice and in the grand scheme of Burgundy a good value.
