Alice (the Harold Rosenberg of the wine world obviously) in a more than moving post on her blog, made me realize that I am totally off the stream of the future (present?) of wine.
I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out where these people grow their grapes, how they do it, what kind of... Then I realized I was far away from the whole idea.
That 2009 Frank Peillot Mondeuse I drank while lurking on the wine blogs is such a pretty thing, though. Even in this ugly conceptless glass bottle...
Alice, I don't know if I want to thank you for being an eye opener, or blame you for my future metaphysical questionings.
Tonight I have to admit I feel like a bit lost and old.
